Il future continuous (will be + -ing) indica un'azione in corso in un momento futuro: This time tomorrow I'll be lying on the beach (domani a quest'ora sarò sdraiato in spiaggia). Il future perfect (will have + participio) indica un'azione completata entro un momento futuro, spesso con by o by the time: By Friday I'll have finished the report (entro venerdì avrò finito la relazione).

| by then | a quel punto, per allora | The meeting ends at 5. By then I'll have left. |
Future perfect continuous
Esiste anche il future perfect continuous (will have been + -ing), usato per dire da quanto tempo si farà qualcosa in un momento futuro: In June I'll have been working here for five years (a giugno lavorerò qui da cinque anni).
Confronto e equivalenti italiani

| At 10 I'll have finished. | Alle 10 avrò già finito | Alle 10 avrò finito. |
When I have finished, I'll call you. La regola del presente dopo when e if è spiegata in futuro in inglese, e lo schema completo dei tempi in tempi verbali inglesi.

By the time significa “entro il momento in cui / quando”: By the time you arrive, I'll have cooked dinner (quando arriverai, avrò già preparato la cena). Dopo by the time si usa il presente.
Riepilogo
Il future continuous (will be + -ing) indica cosa starai facendo in un momento futuro, il future perfect (will have + participio) cosa avrai completato entro un momento futuro, spesso con by o by the time. Inizia dall'esercizio 3.
